Lama top is located near Harsil Valley in the Uttarakashi district of Uttarakhand. It is an upward trek of about 2 kms. Lama top is famous for its natural beauty. The trek offers beautiful mountain view. The top is encircled by the Tibetan Prayer Flags.

The basecamp for Lama top trek is Harsil Valley . This trek is excellent choice for beginners. Lama top trek is good for those who are in search of peace and tranquility. This short-trek takes one through the deodar and pine forest.

Best time to visit :-

April - Oct :- This is the best time to do the trek. There's no snow during this time but still ideal for both adventure and nature lovers.

The route remain closed during the winters due to heavy snowfall. But snow patches can be found during March month.

Key points to remember :-

> Must carry water bottle as there is no source of water during the trek.

> Must acclimatize before doing the trek at Harsil basecamp.

> Must carry food and energy drinks.

> Do not pollute, dispose the garbage safely.
